I talked to 3 Crappie Fishermen at Martins Corner, in Milam, this morning while eating breakfast. They had been fishing on Toledo Bend for the past 10 days and said they probably hadn’t caught 10 Crappie in total. I asked them where they had been fishing and they told me way back in the creeks in fairly shallow water. I mentioned that the lake was 3 ft. low and that the Crappie have not moved shallow back in the creeks yet. If they had been subscribers to Tommymartinfishingintel.com they could have read all the recent Toledo Bend Crappie reports and would have had a good idea of WHERE to fish, what DEPTH, and what LURES to use. All of this (and more) current information just waiting to be taken advantage of by our Crappie fisherman subscribers ! I assured them there were a lot of Crappie being caught !
