REMINDER…3-26: Dylan Kyle Poche Memorial Bass Tournament @ Cypress Bend

Reminder that IN-PERSON REGISTRATION for this event is

Friday, March 25th @ 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

(Food will be served !)

Or you can register the morning of the Bass Tournament

Saturday, March 26th @ 4:15 AM to 7:00 AM.

Trailering IS allowed.

TOURNAMENT HOURS: Start fishing at 6:45 am and stop at 3:00 pm.

BOATS: 

1-100 Must be Checked in by 4:00 pm
101 – 150 Must be Checked in by 3:45 pm.
151 +  Must Be Checked in By 3:30 pm. 

And DONT FORGET ABOUT THE KIDS ! If you are looking to spend some time with the kiddo(s), AND support a wonderful cause, please consider making your way out to Cypress Bend on Saturday ! Guaranteed FUN !

RULES FOR KIDS FISHING FROM THE BANK:

1. Only a Bass can be weighed in.
2. Only artificial baits can be used.
3. You can only fish around Cypress Bend Launch Area.
4. Fishing Starts at 10:00am and Stops at 1:00pm.
5. As soon as you catch your fish come weigh it in.
6. Smallest fish wins.
7. Only ages 3 to 15 can weigh fish.
8. Parents can help with getting the fish off the hook and getting it to the
   tanks to weigh in.

The Dylan Kyle Poche Memorial Fishing Scholarship will be presented each spring to a graduating senior who plans to be a member of the Northwestern State University Fishing Team.  If no eligible applicants apply for the scholarship, the funds will go to support the NSU Fishing Team and its activities.  This scholarship was established to provide funds for young anglers who possesses a passion for competitive fishing.  Through this scholarship the memory of Dylan Kyle Poche will live on forever. The 2021 Scholarship information is now available!
